Georgian Seasoning – a blend of spices and aromatic herbs traditionally used for preparing authentic Georgian dishes with pork, lamb, beef, and chicken.**

25 g of seasoning is enough for preparing 1.5 kg of meat.

For baking, rub the meat with the seasoning and leave to marinate for 45-60 minutes.

For stewing, add the seasoning to taste 5 minutes before the dish is ready.

Georgian-style Shashlik

Ingredients:

  • Pork neck – 1.5 kg
  • Onions – 3 pcs
  • Sunflower oil – 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  • Seasoning @iris.seasonings “Georgian” – 25 g
  • Salt to taste

Preparation:

  1. Cut the pork into pieces weighing 70-80 g, and slice the onions into rings.
  2. Prepare the marinade: mix the seasoning, vegetable oil, lemon juice, and salt.
  3. Pour the prepared marinade over the meat and onions and mix well. Leave to marinate for 45-60 minutes.
  4. Cook the marinated meat on skewers over hot coals until done.
