The “Italian” herb mix is used for making soups, pasta, pizza, sauces, bruschetta, appetizers, and vegetable salads. The herb mix pairs well with all types of meat and poultry, and it is used to flavor salt, vegetable oil, and vinegar.

Pasta with Bolognese Sauce

Ingredients:

• Ground beef – 250 g, • Olive oil – 1 tbsp, • Butter – 25 g, • Onion – 1 pc, • Carrot – 1 pc, • Tomatoes – 3 pcs, • Garlic – 2 cloves, • Tomato paste – 2 tbsp, • “Italian” herb mix – 1-2 tsp, • Ground black pepper, salt – to taste, • Pasta – 350 g, • Parmesan cheese – 150 g.

Preparation:

Dice the onion, grate the carrot, and mince the garlic. Sauté the onion, carrot, and garlic in a heated pan with olive oil and butter for 8-10 minutes over low heat. Add the ground meat to the vegetables, fry everything over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, then add the tomato paste and finely chopped blanched tomatoes. Simmer everything over low heat until a thick sauce is obtained. At the end of cooking, add salt, pepper, and the “Italian” herb mix. Boil the pasta in salted water until done, place it on a large plate, top with the prepared sauce, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan. Enjoy your meal!
